Disodium Glycyrrhetate 65% HPLC from Licorice Root Extract
Disodium glycyrrhizinate is a white or light yellow powder with a very sweet taste and a special sweet aftertaste. Disodium glycyrrhizinate also has a flavor-enhancing effect. It can be used as a flavor enhancer for edible spices and has a good effect on dairy products and cocoa products.
The production process of disodium glycyrrhizinate is to crush the licorice root, extract it with water, concentrate it into a dark brown viscous liquid, then refine the glycyrrhizic acid crystals with dilute ethanol, and add activated carbon for decolorization if necessary.
