Silybin is a water-soluble derivative obtained by the synthesis of silibinin, an effective ingredient extracted from the fruit of the Compositae plant Silybum marianum, which can protect and stabilize liver cell membranes. It plays a very good role in protecting the liver from drug-induced liver poisoning, various acute and chronic hepatitis, initial cirrhosis, fatty liver, lowering enzymes, reducing jaundice and promoting liver cell regeneration.
