Function and Application of Silymarin
1. Improve Liver Function
Studies have shown that milk thistle extract silymarin can protect liver cells from toxic substances and enhance the liver's ability to metabolize lipids.
There are many research reports on the treatment of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease with silymarin on the official website of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The results show that silymarin can reduce the biochemical, inflammatory and ultrasound indicators of liver steatosis.
